Team relay: A trio of runners competing in Baroko 10 km, Baroko Half Marathon a Baroko Marathon can participate in a team relay. The total time of the three runners from Baroko 10 km, Baroko Half Marathon and Baroko Marathon is the criterion for ranking. In order to register for the team relay, please enter the name of your team into the registration form (field RELAY TEAM).

Registration and payment of entry fees: The payment for foreigners can be done using in the online system by a debit or a credit card. Please contact us if you face any problems.

Attendance (getting your race number and chip): Area of Velká Louka, Plasy, Friday 8 September 2023 6pm – 8.30pm, Saturday 9 September 2023 7.30am – 9.20am

Changes: The registration can be transferred to another runner or in case of injury to the next year (only once). These changes must be done before 31 August 2023. Please contact us for such changes.

Participants can change their course and other details of the registration in the online registration system.

Details about the Courses

Surface: The Baroko Marathon, Baroko Half Marathon and Baroko 10 km courses are on forest and field roads (approx. 80 %) and third class roads (approx. 20 %). Baroko 4.2 km includes 4 laps on the meadow without any elevation.

Refreshments: Baroko Marathon, Baroko Half Marathon and Baroko 10 km include regular refreshing stations with water, isotonic drinks, bananas, apples, chocolate and raisins.

Baroko Ultra 100k: The course is an extension of the marathon course by another 48k. A detailed map of the course is available at http://barokomaraton.cz/100.pdf. For more details on this course, please contact the organisers.

Baroko Ultra 100k is a qualifying race for UTMB World Series events.

Categories

The categories for Baroko 10 km, Baroko Half Marathon and Baroko Marathon include:

  • men, women under 39 years
  • men, women 40 to 49 years
  • men, women 50 to 59 years
  • men, women 60 to 69 years
  • men, women over 70 years

The categories for Baroko 4.2 km include:

  • men, women under 14 years
  • men, women over 15 years

Entry Fee Includes

The entry fee for Barokomaraton, Baroko Half Marathon a Baroko 10 km includes:

  • medal (guaranteed for those registered and paid by 31 August 2023),
  • start number (with name printed on it only for those registered and paid by 31August 2023),
  • chip timing,
  • refreshments on the course and at the finish (meal and drink),
  • other services at the venue such as massage,
  • on-line results.

The entry fee for Baroko 4.2 km includes:

  • start number,
  • chip timing,
  • other services at the venue such as massage,
  • on-line results.

Other Information

Insurance: The competitors are not insured by the organisers against accidents. Everyone races on his/her own risk. Competitors need to take into account traffic on the road.

Race number: The race number must be visibly displayed on the front upper part body of the runner for the entire duration of the race.

Chip loss: Losing your chip will result in 500 CZK (~20 EUR) to be paid to the organisers.

Cloak rooms: Available on place.

Showers: Available at Gymnazium Plasy (500 metres from the venue).

Results: Preliminary results will be available at the area of Velka louka Plasy. The final results will be published on the website within 24 hours after the end of the race. Complaints to the results can be made within the first two days after the race.
